In July, 12 recent College leavers were in touch with over 500 OCs as part of our "Planning Ahead" campaign. We are delighted to announce that over £108,000 has been received in gifts and pledges. All the funds will be put towards the Cheltenham College Scholarship and Bursary endowment fund and towards the development of our facilities.

We are, as always, grateful for the generosity and support of our OCs. Our strong community has always been a hallmark of Cheltenham College and the continued interest that so many OCs take not only in the development of College but also in the future generations of Cheltonians means a great deal to us. We hope to see many of our OCs at the upcoming Association events and reunions planned for later in the year!

The Planning Ahead Campaign is open to all those in the College Community and information packs are available. Indeed generous current and past parents have already contributed. Cheltenham College Charitable Trust is running its first Telephone Campaign this year, starting on 13th July for 2 weeks.

We aim to contact around 650 OCs and update them on the developments and news across College, find out about their time at Cheltenham and invite them to make a contribution to the Regular Giving Programme. (Please see the Regular Giving Pages of this site). We are raising funds to create a Scholarship and Bursary Endowment Fund and further develop our facilities to ensure we deliver excellent education standards in the 21st Century.

We have employed a team of trained Callers, all OCs themselves, who are all passionate about Cheltenham and enjoy speaking to former students. Maybe you will receive a call from one of them.

We are very pleased to announce the receipt of a £70,000 gift (worth almost £90,000 to College once Gift Aid is reclaimed) from OC Charles 'Jack' Tinson, '41, Christowe.

The 'Tinson Music Fund' has been created and more details will follow shortly.
